Welcome to my site. I am Jana, food lover, cooking instructor and truffle hunter.  I manage our guest house with cooking school and creative art retreat, in the heart of the Italian Le Marche region. I am passionate about creating inspiring and delicious meals, which combine all the fantastic flavours, textures and colours of the Med. Did you know that Mediterranean diet is known as the brain & body healthiest diet there is? 

I create dishes that combine traditional recipes with a modern twist to maximise the benefits of each ingredient. As well as teaching classes in my Italian country kitchen, I also teach on-line classes for healthy ageing, dementia and chronic disease prevention for a UK healthy ageing platform. I enjoy helping people on their journey to healthy ageing through better and more delicious eating.

I also love spending time on country walks with my truffle lagotto dogs and guests, hunting for the precious white and black truffle and then creating superb dishes with this aromatic tuber and pairing them with the best Italian wines. Did I make you hungry for more yet?
